Explore the trails towering over the Mighty Mississippi. Cruise along our 3 scenic byways. A designated bicycle-friendly community, we have routes that fit your needs, from easy to challenging. Taste your way through the many apple orchards that dot our landscape. Finish you amazing day at one of our restaurants or shops. Come to Applefest in September.
Natural unpaved trail. Lost Creek Hiking Trail is about 6.5 miles long one way. It is located west of Chatfield with parking access at Groen Park Trailhead (Co. Rd. 2) and at the Ninebark Road Trailhead (Co. Rd. 101). Hiking & Snowshoe only.
Shooting Star Scenic Byway & Shooting Star Regional Trail. Lake Louise State Park. Trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing, snowmobiling. Recreation: Swimming, boating/canoeing, fishing, shaded picnic grounds, scheduled programs, campground.
