Welcome to the City of Kellogg, Minn., and the picturesque scenic surrounding area. Kellogg is home to a recently constructed Heroes Memorial located in their down town park. Life-size concrete statues are displayed, including a fireman, soldier, paramedic and police officer along with a huge central granite engraved wall. Engraved bricks with community heroes’ names make up the walking area. The Heroes Memorial is also lit up at night, which is a spectacular site. The concrete statues were created by a local statuary producer. The memorial area’s landscape design was also created locally.
The Kellogg area offers fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, atv, and horseback riding in nearby state parks, restaurants, hairstyling, landscaping, attractions and shopping. The first weekend of May brings the area’s 100-Mile Garage Sale, with Kellogg as one of the participating towns. The first weekend after Labor Day, Kellogg celebrates with their annual Watermelon Festival. A weekend full of fun, with softball tournament, tractor ride, carnival, burnout, watermelon crawl, and more! Enjoy family fun for everyone with a parade on that Sunday!
