Warrens, the Cranberry Capital of Wisconsin, is home to the world’s largest cranberry festival.
Held the last full weekend each September, the event draws more than 145,000 visitors for three days of shopping, food, contests, marsh tours, and family fun.
But Warrens offers plenty to experience year-round. Visitors can enjoy a full getaway with relaxing lodging options including campgrounds, log-style villas, vacation homes, and a luxury hotel. Spend your days swimming in indoor and outdoor water parks, riding local ATV routes and snowmobile trails, touring cranberry marshes, or visiting the Cranberry Discovery Center to learn about Wisconsin’s No. 1 fruit crop.
The community also features restaurants, lodging, local fruit and vegetable farms, a small brewery, and a variety of local businesses and services.
Though Warrens has fewer than 550 year-round residents, it offers a welcoming small-town lifestyle with an elementary school, clinic, parks, playgrounds, a softball field, youth and adult organizations, and five churches.
The Cranberry Discovery Center, located in the lower level of the historic 1900 George Warren Company wood planing mill, showcases vintage harvesting equipment, historic photographs, and exhibits highlighting the heritage and innovation of Wisconsin’s cranberry industry.
