There is always a reason to visit Spring Grove and even better reasons to stay!
Nestled in the southeastern corner of Minnesota’s bluff country is the historic vibrant town of Spring Grove. We are a small town surrounded by rolling fields and breathtaking views with many amenities to offer.
Do you enjoy outdoor activities? Spring Grove has parks with playgrounds plus a birding trail complete with signs describing what you might see along that part of the trail. If you have a smart phone, you can even hear the birds’ call using a QR code. The trail is accessible in all weather… in the spring as the trees are budding, during the summer and the cool shading foliage, in the fall with the beautiful golden leaves, or in the winter on snowshoes. There is also a trail for the horseback enthusiast winding through the beautiful woods and hills. During the summer, bring the whole family and enjoy a day at our swim center. Pack your racquet and enjoy a tennis match or pickle ball game on the courts by the pool.

In October, we welcome autumn with our UffDa Fest celebration. The weekend following Thanksgiving, Spring Grove hosts the annual Festival of Trees. Our Fest Building is transformed into a different winter wonderland theme each year with the culminating event of the Holiday Gala and Auction on Saturday night, with funds raised going to local charities.
Interested in tracing your family history? A stop in at our heritage center is a must. Browse the gift shop, view murals on the walls by well-known Norwegian artist, and find out how you can trace your genetic genealogy. Each summer they also host a Norwegian language camp.
In the evening, you can catch a movie at our digital cinema with stadium seating. Or work off some energy at the 24/7 fitness center. Grab a drink at the distillery, the local coffee house, the brew pub, or pop the top of a nice, cold bottle of Spring Grove Soda Pop that has been made locally in small batches since 1895.
